Douglas Cashion

Douglas W. Cashion, 81, of Janesville passed away at his home on Thursday, June 13, 2013. He was born January 16, 1932 in Sparta, WI, the son of James and Blanche (Artus) Cashion. He married Kathleen (Broyles) Connell on January 24, 1981 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Edgerton. Douglas was employed in repair at General Motors prior to retiring. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, U.A.W. Local # 95 and was a member of the 12 step AA program for 31 years.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen, one son, Randy (Jodi) Cashion of Little Elm, TX, two step-daughters, Andrea (Tim) Hart of Racine, WI, Mary ( Jim) Kubiak of Janesville, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Douglas was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Cashion, two sisters, Vin Ricky and Alice Matts and a step-daughter, Tammy Zito.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville with The Rev. Robert Lebron officiating.
